When the whole household is fighting for one person

Cancer and serious illness pull a family inward — meals, lawn, lightbulbs, and rides get dropped. Care circles make practical needs visible so neighbors can help without awkward guessing.

Dignity first. Use a first name or “the R. family” — not medical detail people didn't approve. Crisis needs use gratitude-only reciprocity; pay it forward when life steadies.
